It is automatic Power factor control panel, which controls power factor by absorbing reactive power.

An APFC panel consists of one relay and couple of capacitor which are operated & managed by contactors.

For Non Linear loads where the system is interrupted by switchingaction,the harmonic distortion occurs causing non linear loads.To avoid 7th order harmonic distortion the capacitors are installed with detuned reactors.
